ADLM 2026 Meeting Branding

Roughly 80% of ADLM’s annual revenue is generated from the annual meeting, so it’s a very big deal. I had 2 major roles for this:
1.) Help a partnering angency define a seperate brand and guidelines specifically for the meeting
2.) Manage the creation of all of the marketing material and signage ensuring a consistent visual identity and quality for all products

The Concept:

MEETING OF THE MINDS
At the intersection of innovation and expertise, ADLM 2026 unites the brightest minds in diagnostics and clinical laboratory medicine. This isn’t just a conference—it’s where boundaries dissolve, bold ideas converge, and collective intelligence moves the field forward. This brand will create materials that reflect the energy, inclusivity, and thought leadership behind the theme for 2026–Meeting of the Minds. The brand inspire visuals and messaging that celebrate collaboration, cross-discipline connection, and scientific progress. The tone is smart, forward-looking, and community-driven to reflect what happens when great minds meet.

Visual Elements:

PORTRAITS
Portraits used should showcase the diverse backgrounds of ADLM members and attendees. Attire should be casual or business—spanning various ages, genders, and ethnicities. No lab coats should be shown. Subjects should be paired together to reflect the diversity of the profession and reinforce the Meeting of the Minds theme.

HEXAGON PATTERN
This hexagon pattern can be used as a subtle background. It is a design element that represents the science that will be showcased at the meeting, of which it is based around. But it also signifies the connection of people and ideas. The network of nodes are all connected by at least one path within the greater structure. Here, the meeting is the greater structure and the nodes are individual attendees. Everyone has the oppurtunity to find a great connection just by being at the meeting.

Results:

Everything turned out amazing and helped us generate over 18,000 attendee ticket sales and a full sponsor expo hall (don’t have those exact numbers).
